At Our Lady of Compassion, our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create a community where Gospel values shape our relationships, learning and daily experiences, enabling everyone to grow in faith and live as Jesus taught us.

As part of the Archdiocese of Birmingham's Catholic Schools' Pupil Profile, we focus on developing the virtues and values inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of St Ignatius, these virtues help our children to become compassionate, reflective and responsible members of society.

Each half term, we explore a different pair of virtues, encouraging pupils to reflect on their meaning, recognise them in the lives of others and consider how they can put them into action themselves. Through Religious Education lessons, assemblies, worship and everyday school life, we provide opportunities for children to deepen their understanding of these virtues and grow in their relationship with God.

By nurturing these qualities, we help our pupils to develop as confident, caring and faith-filled individuals who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.

Pupils at Our Lady of Compassion Catholic Primary School are growing to be:
