House Captains

Inter-House Competitions and Leadership

Throughout the year, our pupils take part in a wide range of exciting inter-house competitions that celebrate teamwork, creativity, leadership, and school spirit. These events provide opportunities for children to work together, develop new skills, and contribute positively to their house community.

Every pupil belongs to one of our four houses: St Anne’s, St Gabriel’s, St Raphael’s, and St Joseph’s. House membership fosters a strong sense of belonging and encourages pupils to support one another while striving towards shared goals.

Our inter-house competitions include:

  • Sporting events such as football, netball, athletics, and swimming.
  • Creative challenges including art, music, drama, and other collaborative projects.
  • Academic and community-based activities that promote participation, teamwork, and personal development.

House Captains

Each year, pupils elect House Captains to represent their house and lead their teams throughout the year. House Captains play an important role in school life by:

  • Encouraging participation and ensuring everyone feels included.
  • Motivating and supporting their fellow house members.
  • Demonstrating leadership, teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
  • Assisting staff in the organisation of competitions and events.
  • Celebrating and sharing the achievements of their house.

The year culminates in our much-anticipated Sports Day, where House Captains proudly lead and inspire their teams. Through friendly competition and shared success, pupils develop confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and a strong sense of community, making our house system an integral part of life at school.
