Ordering and Paying for School Meals
At Our Lady of Compassion Catholic Primary School, we use Cypad through ParentPay to make ordering and paying for school meals simple and convenient for families.
Ordering Meals
All school meals must be ordered in advance through ParentPay. This applies to:
- Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receiving Universal Infant Free School Meals.
- Children eligible for Targeted Free School Meals or Expanded Free School Meals.
- Pupils who pay for school meals.
Parents and carers can order, amend or cancel meals up until 8.00am on the day. This provides flexibility if plans change or if your child is absent from school.
If your child is not present for morning registration, any pre-booked meal will be automatically cancelled, ensuring that you are not charged unnecessarily.
School Meal Costs
From 1 November 2025:

| Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 (KS2) | £2.75 per meal |
| Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 | Free through Universal Infant Free School Meals |
| Eligible pupils receiving Targeted or Expanded Free School Meals | Free |
Benefits of Cypad
The system allows parents and carers to:
- View daily menus and meal choices.
- Order meals quickly and easily online.
- Make secure payments through ParentPay.
- Change or cancel meal selections before the daily deadline.
- Manage meal arrangements from home or on the go.

Managing Allergens
It is really important to us that your child's allergies are managed well. Aspens Services Ltd will work closely with parents to ensure all allergy information is captured and managed. Please complete the allergy information form asap and return it to your child's school. For more information, see Aspens' letter.
