Mini-Vinnies

Mini Vinnies
Mini Vinnies are members of the St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP), a Catholic organisation dedicated to helping people in need. Inspired by St Vincent de Paul, our Mini Vinnies put their faith into action by showing kindness, compassion and service to others.
Their motto is:
See • Think • Do
See – Notice when someone needs help or support.
Think – Reflect on how we can make a positive difference.
Do – Take action through acts of kindness and service.
What Do Mini Vinnies Do?
Our Mini Vinnies meet regularly to pray, share ideas and plan ways to help others within our school, parish and local community. They may:
- Support local foodbanks and charities
- Organise fundraising events for good causes
- Write cards and letters to people who may feel lonely or isolated
- Visit care homes and support community projects
- Lead acts of service and encourage others to help those in need
- Raise awareness of social justice issues and ways we can make a difference
Why Are Mini Vinnies Important?
Being a Mini Vinnie helps children grow in faith, leadership and responsibility. They learn that even the smallest act of kindness can have a big impact and that everyone can help to make the world a better place.
Through prayer, friendship and service, our Mini Vinnies live out the Gospel values and become positive role models within our school community. ❤️🙏✨
