    At Our Lady of Compassion, we are blessed to have a dedicated and enthusiastic parent association known as the Friends of OLC (FOLC). Working alongside our school community, FOLC plays a vital role in supporting school life, strengthening relationships between families and staff, and creating memorable experiences for our children.

    What We Do

    The Friends of OLC aim to:

    • Support the school's mission and values through community engagement.
    • Organise events that bring families together and foster a strong sense of community.
    • Raise additional funds to enhance opportunities and experiences for our pupils.
    • Contribute to special projects, resources and initiatives that benefit the children.
    • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels part of the OLC family.

    While fundraising is an important part of our work, our primary goal is to enrich the everyday life of the school and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

    Get Involved

    FOLC meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Thursday of each month, and all parents, carers and family members are welcome to attend.

    Whether you can offer a little time, lots of enthusiasm, a helping hand at events or new ideas, we would love to hear from you. Becoming involved is a fantastic way to meet other families and make a positive contribution to our school community.

    We are always looking for new volunteers and fresh ideas.

    School Lottery

    Our school lottery is an exciting way to support Our Lady of Compassion while having the opportunity to win prizes.

    Every ticket purchased helps raise valuable funds that are reinvested directly into enriching the children's educational experiences and enhancing school life.
