    Main School (Reception - Foundation Stage 2 - 2027-28)

    Solihull Local Authority co-ordinates the admissions process for all statutory school-age children applying for a Reception place.

    After submitting your application through the Local Authority, please complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF), which can be found at the bottom of this page. If your child has been baptised, a copy of their Baptism Certificate should be attached to the SIF and emailed to the school office at office@olc.solihull.sch.uk. Providing this information enables the school to apply the correct admissions criteria when considering applications.

    The closing date for Reception (FS2) admissions for September 2027 is 15th January 2027.

    We encourage parents and carers to submit both the Local Authority application and the Supplementary Information Form by the published deadlines to ensure applications can be processed accurately and efficiently.

    In-Year Applications (Reception through to Year 6 2026-27)

    Applications for places outside the normal Reception admissions round (known as in-year admissions) can be made at any time during the academic year. Where places are available in the relevant year group, children will be admitted.

    Applications should be made through Solihull Local Authority by completing the In-Year Admissions Application Form, available on the Solihull Council website: https://www.solihull.gov.uk/Schools-and-learning/School-admissions.

    As a Catholic school, parents and carers are also required to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) in addition to the Local Authority application form. The SIF can be downloaded from the bottom of this page or obtained from the school office.

    Completed Supplementary Information Forms should be returned directly to the school by post or email:

    Where applicable, supporting evidence such as a Baptism Certificate should be submitted with the SIF. Failure to submit a Supplementary Information Form directly to the school may affect the priority given to an application under the school's admissions criteria.

    Once the application has been received, Solihull Local Authority will forward it to the school's Governing Body for consideration. If there are more applications than places available in a particular year group, applications will be considered in accordance with the school's published Admissions Arrangements for 2026-2027. Parents and carers are strongly encouraged to read the admissions arrangements before applying. A copy is available below or can be obtained from the school office upon request.

    If no places are available, the Local Authority will notify parents on behalf of the Governing Body and the child's name will be added to the appropriate waiting list in accordance with the school's admissions arrangements.

    Parents and carers will be informed of the outcome of their application in writing as soon as possible. Applications are normally determined within 10 school days and, in all cases, applicants will be notified within 15 school days of the application being received.

    If an application is unsuccessful, parents and carers have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.

    Nursery

    Applications for a place in our Nursery should be made directly to the school.

    Please complete the appropriate Nursery Application Form and return it by email to office@olc.solihull.sch.uk. Application forms for both the current academic year and the 2027-2028 academic year can be found at the bottom of this page.

    We currently offer 36 full-time Nursery places, providing up to 30 hours of provision per week.

    The closing date for applications for Nursery admissions for the 2027-2028 academic year is Friday 11th December 2026.
